Government jobs are the emergency services and official government agencies. Fully funded and equipped by the government, these jobs pay hourly and each provide a huge list of opportunities for career growth and personal development.
All of these jobs interact with other people heavily so they're the best if you want to be the most legal person ever. There's also some opportunities for ex-felons to get jobs at some of these!
A passion for enforcing the law of the land is required for this job. You will be arresting people, investigating, maybe becoming a member of SWAT or get a career as a detective. This law enforcement agency covers the main city of Los Santos in the south of the state.
Also a law enforcement agency, but quite different. They cover the wilderness of the northern part of the state. You can become part of their Special Enforcement Detail (pictured), get trained in K9, or even become an investigator.Â
The DOC are the guardians of Bolingbroke penitentiary state prison, they keep the inmates in and sometimes even transport some themselves. With many divisional opportunities, such as K9, Medical Team, Parole, Felon reformation, and more! This tightly-knit family of a job is great if you want to help people.
As an emergency medical responder, you will be driving around in ambulances fixing up peoples injuries and taking them to the hospital. Beyond that there's many divisions you can join, you can become a surgeon, therapist, lifeguard and many more!
Is your passion the law? Well at the judicial branch you can become a defence attorney or prosecutor. You can even become a court clerk, judge or paralegal. There's many career opportunities whether you want to send people to the slammer or help defend people who dispute their charges.
As an official at the State Government, there are a multitude of bureaus you could join. If you prefer deskwork you could become part of administration, if you have a passion for businesses and housing you could join economic development, and if you want to protect said officials you can even become a government agent.
