In the early hours of the morning of 4th November 2024, a group known as "The Souls" took prosecutor Michael Blaise hostage and took him to the courthouse at city hall. After the situation, I had exclusive access to interview Aki Kurokawa, the person who took the lead in this situation. This interview is raw, quoting exactly what Ms Kurokawa said and has not been edited in any way.
Q: Can you first confirm the facts that Mr. Blaise was at the airport and you and your people took him hostage there and then took him to the courthouse and strapped a bomb vest to him?
A: This is correct.
Q: Can you explain the reasoning?
A: He did Arthur Green wrong in his court case. During that court case of Arthur Green versus the state he used evidence that was not brought forth beforehand by PD. I'm pretty sure it was the crow bar, that something you have to get specifically from Arthur. What I was told, his exact words were "this is the exact crowbar used in the crime".
Q: What was the reason for taking your hostage to the courthouse specifically?
A: To put him on trial.
Q: And how did that 'trial' go?
A: He said he was just doing his job. Im saying hes corrupt, how do you go to legal court and use dirty tricks like that to condemn someone? All evidence was supposed to be presented in the discovery before hand.
Q: And in this trial, how did you find Mr Blaise?
A: He was guilty. He tried to defend himself saying he was just doing his job, even said that if we asked nicely he would've just dropped the charges. Either a lie in a court room or hes corrupt.
Q: So you found him guilty, what then?
A: The plan was to get his public apology and admittance of wrongdoing during a legal proceeding, refusal meant execution. So that means again he's corrupt, he knows he did wrong. He admitted to it and agreed to apologize for it, which is probably why they shot us before he could get to that part. They can't have their corrupt shit broadcasted you know?
Q: So, as everyone knows, when you exited the courthouse you were all shot by LSPD, what do you have to say about that?
A: What i will say is that PD took the risk not knowing if it was real or not. They put his life at jeporady because they had to stop the bad guys then and there. I want you to note down, they literally shot our guy 4 times and we still didn't shoot back until they literally started unloading on us. But were the "bad guys".
Q: Do you have anything else you wish to add?
A: I want you to make sure you note down that PD were willing to risk blowing Michael Blaise, us, and anyone else within the vicinity up because they couldn't have trigger discipline. Meanwhile, the "criminals" they shot showed great restraint, not shooting even AFTER we were shot plenty of times.
I also want it to be known that while yes, we are criminals, yes we did commit crimes, but we did it for the betterment of this city. We never wanted to harm anyone but we can only do things a certain way since we are branded criminals, unfortunately, government doesn't listen otherwise.
