"I made her a smoothie of cockroaches, weed, and her finger"
Last week, an LSEMS woman was kidnapped by an individual known as Charlie Belle. Reports claim a note was left at Mission Row (see image), in which LSPD started investigating. After ~36 hours the medic was still missing, and the same note appeared at Pillbox hospital, to which LSSD got involved.
In recent weeks, the Government Security Bureau has paired up with LSEMS for "Operation Shielded Heart". This follows several targeted attacks against paramedics from a variety of sources, leading to GSB supporting them with their work for protection.
Initial suspicions were that it was "The Souls", however it turns out this was the work of one individual, with no correlation to potential affiliation. Charlie Belle (formerly Charlie Bankshot) was the individual behind this kidnapping and after the situation had ended, CobbBlog had the opportunity to interview both her and LSEMS High Command to get the story straight.
Interview with Charlie
Can you explain why you did what you did?
"When I was a kid my father drank a lot and was abusive towards me and my mother. Eventually we got away and lived in her car for a bit but then he found us and put her into a coma. I followed him to Liberty City and found his apartment and murdered him.
It turns out [redacted MD woman] lived in the apartment across the way and told the police that she saw me, which got me arrested and jailed.
So I wanted to get revenge on her, plus I had some vengeance to take out on MD from other things."
And how did you go about kidnapping her?
"She was ridiculously easy to kidnap. In the last month and half I've made about 2 attempts to kidnap her. She was at Benny's and I just said 'there's a cat in the alley over there and it looks sick'. She didn't take the bait so I said I'm going to kill it, and then she went over and I kidnapped her"
What was your plan then?
"I never intended to kill her, there's no lesson to be taught in death."
So you had her in your apartment, what then?
"I tortured her. I burned her with hot wax. I carved the words "A ruined life" on her back. At one point she complained she was lonely so I gave her some cockroaches, but she killed them. She then wasn't eating so I made her a smoothie made from cockroaches, weed, and her own finger."
Right...
"I got bored with that eventually so got a dog collar and mask and put it on her and named her "speedbump the pug" and ordered her to do everything she was asked to humiliate her. After about a day of this she attempted to hang herself so I took a sledgehammer to her ankles and tattooed them with "CB" [Charlie Belle]."
So, you got caught eventually, how?
"Ally Quinn reached out to trial a new service animal system they're rolling out and we scheduled a meet up, to exchange [the medic] for $300,000 and participation in this system."
And you were apprehended?
"GSB swarmed me, including Reina Moraine the basket case. They got [the medic] out of the trunk of my car and put me in a holding cell and GSB raided my apartment."
What charges did you get?
"Possession of human body tissue, aggravated torture, kidnapping."
What next? Are you going to back after her?
"I'm done with it now, I've got a bunch of new charges since then for stalking etc. I'm in $35k debt so can't afford to keep pursuing it. Maybe I'll do the same to Ally Quinn as she betrayed my trust."
Anything else you wish to add?
"About 2 days in I got pulled over by some SD trainee and he got out of his car and said "it's her" with his tazer out. I drove off and ended up crashing and they tased me and took me to DOC for felony evasion and resisting arrest. I called Ally to tell her I was in prison."
Interview with LSEMS High Command
When I got the opportunity to speak to the LSEMS High Command team, they filled in some of the gaps within the story and gave their side as there was some tensions with how everything played out.
LSPD originally found the note, as mentioned previously, and an investigation started. Information was constantly changing which caused confusion and Charlie was taunting MD at pillbox and also over 911 calls.
Within 36 hours, a note was left at Pillbox Hospital in which MD informed law enforcement over department radio and SD responded.
The MD team wanted to emphasise to me that contrary to rumours going around, MD did not push out LSPD or LSSD from the investigations. GSB had been paired with MD for reasons mentioned previously and when Charlie made contact they had a short window to try and get [the medic] back and GSB were at hand.
The "baiting" of Charlie was more of a negotiation of demands, [the medic] in exchange for $300k and participation in the service animal program.
"It wasn't that MD wanted to avoid PD or SD. We love our brothers and sisters in law enforcement. We had less than 5 minutes to get a team ready and GSB is here already. So they operated to make sure the medic was recovered safe and secure"
Conclusion
As an ex employee of LSEMS, I used to be within the Crisis Response Unit and have some level of expertise in evaluating the criminal mind. None of the below has been officially stated, however.
Charlie exhibits traits consistent with Complex PTSD deriving from her childhood abuse and trauma. There are also elements of severe antisocial personality disorder with sadistic features as demonstrated by her actions to others throughout. She also has several psychopathic traits such as lack of empathy, manipulation, and instrumental violence.
On the lower end of the spectrum are also obsessive/compulsive tendencies with a focus of control over her victims.
The fact she was willing to give all the above information in an interview also demonstrates high levels of narcissism, albeit aware of it.
There is also a possibility of underlying vulnerability with attachment hunger, given how she responded to [the medic]'s hunger and attempt to hang themselves.
The last I heard, the medic was in the ICU being treated. I passed on all the above information regarding the physical and mental torture to them. Let's all hope they make a good recovery and can move on and heal from this experience.
